Thats all there was in the beginning. The darkness and the clash of steel. Blood poured and stained the ground they could not see. Sparks flew and in those moments the death, destruction, carnage and chaos could be seen surrounding the endless battlefield of the darkness and death. One warrior stood amongst the fighting her eyes agleam from the destructive glow within them. Her blade had tasted centuries of blood from species upon species and beings upon beings. Her hair fell in thick blood soaked locks around her face ending somewhere around her knees.
She leaped into the air appearing to all the dark as a flying demon as she came down upon her next target. Somewhere else amongst the battle an entity drifted through slitting throats and slowly keeping the war from swaying either way but staying constant. He had been doing for so long that this was his only memory. He could not even remember why he had been chosen or even when he came into existence. He had come to the point where he kept the war going simply because he knew nothing else to do. His eyes held no glow and his hair reached down to his shins but he had learned long ago from somewhere what was necessary to keep a manly style of braids that shortened his hair to the point of un-hindrance. He moved like a ghost for he had already learned he could be seen when he did not want to be.
The bodies moved and ebbed like an ocean ragging in a storm. The soil was so stained and littered with bones and fresh dead that it was literally buried 10 15 feet beneath the bones and bodies. No one had walked upon the true ground since halfway through this endless war. He moved through the sea of clashing weapons and dropping bodies adding more so to the dead than necessary but hey who could blame him it was all he knew.As he moved through them he felt himself drawn to that warrior he seen so long ago. She happened to be impaling several enemies at once while beheading another behind her. In that moment he knew one thing. He could not let her die.
He watched her as she slaughtered and slashed her way through countless bodies. As he moved opponents fell at his feet none knowing where their death had come from. He followed her for what felt to him a long time but there where they were time did not exist. Until in one moment the fighting around her ceased and he saw her for the beauty she truly was. In that moment Light erupted across the planet and in that second all people friend and foe enemy and opponent alike cried out in pain and agony from the brilliance of the light that they had never seen.
The fighting stopped and he moved to her. She stared at him defiantly and their eyes met and accepted each other without a second thought. As he lifted his hand slowly to touch her for the first time a spear landed between them and the battle erupted again. But this time it did not reach them. They were in their own little bubble. Bodies fell around them yet they did not see them, she did not feel the blade slid across her arm, he did not feel the dagger puncture his thigh. His hand continued its motion and he brushed back the lock from her face. In that one motion a wave rushed out knocking the dagger from his thigh and healing the wound instantly leaving only a thin scar behind. It washed over them and outward knocking everyone but them to the ground.
He took her into his arms and the first words ever uttered upon that planet were uttered by him that night that had become day. He looked deep into her eyes and said, "I love you." He kissed her deeply and as that kiss deepened they rose slowly into the sky spinning faster and faster until his hair flew out of the braids and hers lifted up with his above their heads. It intertwined together as they wrapped their arms around each other and let the energy roll through them and outward across the planet. In the second instant of that world its god's were created the union between those two bound them and their love fueled and filled this world with passion and so much more.
As they lowered to the ground those closest fell to their knees and worshiped them. Those further out clambered to their feet and for a moment stared in awe but with the echo of eons of rage and battle in their blood charged forward wanting to spill the blood of this new enemy. Looking at each other they felt the anger of ignorance brush against them. The hate that flowed through them ignited their power and with the swift movement of gods struck down those pouring toward them with hate.
